Relaxing in the African bush, connecting with nature, rejuvenating mind, body and soul - this is what awaits you at the Camelot International Earth Nature Spa at Sabi Sabi's Earth Lodge.

The philosophy when constructing Earth Lodge was to create a lodge that is at one with the nature and reflects the spirit of the African Renaissance. The result is a lodge that is sculpted into the earth - hence it's name - and created to appeal to all five senses. Combine that with Camelot's philosophy of 'creating a haven to rest, relax and revitalise' and you have the sensory experience of a lifetime.

Camelot's Earth Nature Spa at Earth Lodge was an integral part of the lodge's design, and reflects the unique textures that prevail throughout. Four fully equipped treatment rooms - including a double room ideal for couples - look out onto uninterrupted views of the African bush, where animals, birds and plants exist as they have done for centuries.

Two qualified Camelot International therapists are on hand with a full range of spa treatments and therapies, including facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing and a wide range of massages such as Swedish Body Massage, Aromatherapy, Shiatsu and Deep Tissue Massage. The spa also specialises in combined Hydro (water therapy) and Phytotherapy (plant/seaweed therapy) treatments that include wraps and bath additives.

The feeling of well being that comes from luxuriating at Earth Lodge's spa is enriched by the exclusive French spa product, Phytomer, used in all treatments. Phytomer specialises in marine cosmetics, drawing inspiration from the sea.

Rounding off the experience are two hydrotherapy baths and a jacuzzi. For those wanting to ward off the effects of Earth Lodge's excellent cuisine - prepared by award-winning chef, Karl Schilz, the spa has a boutique gym with treadmill, cycle and weight training facility.

Adjoining the spa - and perfect for holistic revitalisation - is a tranquil Zen meditation garden that blends into Earth Lodge's structure, offering a retreat for quiet moments.

Once you have enjoyed a sensual treatment at the spa, the Earth Lodge team will take over, treating you to Big Five game viewing, romantic sundowners under the African sky and an excellent boma dinner. Who could ask for more?

A recent addition to Bush Lodge - they now have a full time therapist and guests can choose from the various massage treatments available either in the treatment room or in-suite.
